Job Description: We are looking to hire ServiceNow Testers with strong integration and infrastructure testing experience for an ongoing project involving ServiceNow to Alveria integration via MFTS.
Mandatory Skills:
- ServiceNow testing (preferably integration-focused)
- MFTS / file transfer systems
- Firewall and certificate (SSL/TLS) validation
- File-based data validation (CSV/XML/JSON)
- End-to-end integration testing
- PowerShell scripting (nice to have)
Job Description:
We are seeking a ServiceNow Tester with strong integration and infrastructure testing experience to support a critical data integration project. The role involves validating the end-to-end flow of call data from ServiceNow (SNOW) through MFTS (Managed File Transfer System) into Alveria for Workforce Planning.
🔄 Key Responsibilities
✅ Integration Testing
- Validate end-to-end data flow from ServiceNow → MFTS → Alveria
- Ensure files are generated and transferred successfully every 30 minutes
- Verify ingestion of files into Alveria system
✅ File & Data Validation
- Validate file format as per Alveria specifications
- Check naming conventions, timestamps, and completeness
- Perform data reconciliation between ServiceNow and Alveria
- Identify and report data discrepancies (missing/duplicate records)
✅ Infrastructure Validation
- Test file transfer via MFTS with secure protocols
- Validate firewall rules, connectivity, and access
- Work with SSL/TLS certificates to ensure secure transfers
✅ Test Execution & Defect Management
- Design and execute test cases and test scenarios
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing
- Log and track defects using tools (Jira/ServiceNow)
✅ Error Handling & Monitoring
- Test failure scenarios (missing file, late delivery, corrupted file)
- Validate retry and alert mechanisms
- Monitor scheduled file arrivals and processing
🛠️ Required Skills
🔹 Core Skills
- ServiceNow (basic understanding of data export/integration)
- Strong integration testing experience
- Experience in file-based data validation (CSV/XML/JSON)
🔹 Infrastructure Skills (Mandatory)
- MFTS (Managed File Transfer Systems)
- Firewall configuration and validation
- Certificates (SSL/TLS) handling
🔹 Scripting (Good to Have)
- PowerShell scripting for:
- File validation
- Automation checks
- Monitoring jobs
