Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer focused on the Plan-to-Stock (PTS) Value Stream

DOD (Dept of Defense) / Department of War (DOW) projects

Duration: up to 4 months Contract with possible extensions

Location: Remote work (Work from home)

Work Schedule: 4/10 First Shift, Monday to Thursday 10 hours per day.

Pay Rate: $110/hr - $114/hr on W2 [the pay rate may differ depending on your skills, education, experience, and other qualifications]

Job Description:

You will support the Plan-to-Stock Value Stream. Your responsibilities are based on a broad knowledge of IT and include, but are not limited to the following:

·         Owning HOW data is being sent/received

·         Supporting proof of concepts, ensuring proposed code changes are both feasible and sustainable while minimizing technical debt in all designs

·         Supporting and subsequently executing software development scoping, sizing activities for identified RICEWF requirements

·         Reviewing functional and technical specifications for quality, programmability and ensuring a scalable approach

·         Working with middleware on how to optimally make multiple systems interface with one another using the best technical approach

·         Collaborating with other Plan-To-Stock (PTS) IT developers with complex design decisions, product evaluations, or other technical obstacles

·         Collaborating with partner technology teams to accomplish goals

·         Seeking a SAP Developer with a strong technical foundation and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.

·         With expertise in development objects that involves enhancements, forms, interfaces to support custom screen developments, custom table generations, RAP application to support development, BADI implementations etc., you''re well-versed in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient applications.

Required Skills:

•        Proven SAP design and development experience in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA systems

•        Understanding of SAP PCM 2023, SAP PCM 2025 both FPS versions

•        Knowledge of SAP ECC PCM and SAP EHS and compliance-domain awareness

•        Experiencing interfacing to CDATS or similar systems

•        Understanding how master data and compliance rules flow through the SAP landscape.

•        Exposure to GTS, EHS module developments

•        SAP‑related Bill‑of‑Material (BOM) processing, data‑exchange work‑arounds, custom field implementation, and a set of targeted reports.

•        Data Integration

•        Experience with ETL processes

•        CSV/XML import templates

•        Experience with large scale implementations

•        Experience with ABAP Development

•        Experience with SAP design and development

•        Strong communication skills and ability to lead collaborative work

Desired Skills:

•        Proven SAP design and development experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA systems

•        First-hand Experience with classic SAP tools/skills such as Restful ABAP (RAP), ABAP Development Tools (ADT), ALV, Adobe Forms, ALE/IDOC, RFC/BAPI,BADI/enhancements, Workflow, LSMW/LTMC, CDS Views (Table Functions, Virtual Elements), AMDP, AIF, DRF

•        Exposure to working with SAP tools/skills such as Fiori Launchpad and Fiori Elements, SAPUI5, Javascript, GIT, WebIDE/BAS and other SAP technologies

•        Experience with integrations using SOAP via SOA Manager, ODATA, IDOCs and Proxys

•        Focused-build experience

•        RF screen development
