What are your contributions to the team?

As a Methods Engineer in the Manufacturing, IT and BOE System Division at Bombardier, you will report to the Leader, Methods Core. Your role requires expertise in Manufacturing Planning and Change Incorporation.
  • Analyze engineering models and manufacturing planning.
  • Manage daily change analysis and change implementation activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure configuration control and consistency.
  • Assist with engineering design reviews and engineering change impact analysis.
  • Develop and document best practices to support manufacturing change incorporation processes.

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Methods, Manufacturing Engineering, or related area
  • Must have working knowledge of Project Management principles
  • Must have working knowledge of lean principles
  • Must have working knowledge of basic quality management tools
  • Must have working knowledge Microsoft Office Suite, including Power Point, Excel, SharePoint and Teams
  • Must have ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications

ADDITIONAL DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Configuration analysis experience
  • Catia or CAD software interrogation experience
  • Structural assembly manufacturing background
  • SAP Routing and BOM experience
