What are your contributions to the team?As a Methods Engineer in the Manufacturing, IT and BOE System Division at Bombardier, you will report to the Leader, Methods Core. Your role requires expertise in Manufacturing Planning and Change Incorporation.
- Analyze engineering models and manufacturing planning.
- Manage daily change analysis and change implementation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure configuration control and consistency.
- Assist with engineering design reviews and engineering change impact analysis.
- Develop and document best practices to support manufacturing change incorporation processes.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Methods, Manufacturing Engineering, or related area
- Must have working knowledge of Project Management principles
- Must have working knowledge of lean principles
- Must have working knowledge of basic quality management tools
- Must have working knowledge Microsoft Office Suite, including Power Point, Excel, SharePoint and Teams
- Must have ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications
ADDITIONAL DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Configuration analysis experience
- Catia or CAD software interrogation experience
- Structural assembly manufacturing background
- SAP Routing and BOM experience
