Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead the onboarding and adoption of enterprise automation standards across multiple engineering teams. This role will focus on accelerating automation maturity, enabling high-velocity Agile delivery, and driving scalable implementation of automation frameworks and best practices.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced engineering environments, excels at coordinating multiple teams, and has a proven track record of leading Agile transformation, DevOps adoption, and process optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Delivery & Execution
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and delivery practices optimized for rapid execution and continuous improvement.
- Enable high-velocity sprint execution, including same-day and micro-sprint delivery models.
- Prioritize and manage backlogs to ensure teams deliver measurable outcomes in compressed timelines.
- Promote continuous feedback loops and iterative delivery practices.
Automation Standards Onboarding
- Lead the onboarding and adoption of enterprise automation frameworks, tools, and standards.
- Execute repeatable onboarding methodologies to drive consistency across teams.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Platform Engineering, Security, and Development teams to ensure alignment with organizational standards and requirements.
- Support engineering teams through automation adoption and operational transformation initiatives.
Cross-Team Coordination & Enablement
- Manage onboarding activities across multiple concurrent engineering teams.
- Coordinate dependencies, risks, and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful implementation.
- Establish and facilitate scalable Agile coordination frameworks, including Scrum of Scrums and other cross-functional governance practices.
- Drive collaboration among technical teams to ensure smooth adoption and execution.
Continuous Improvement & Impediment Removal
- Identify and eliminate blockers impacting team performance and adoption efforts.
- Drive initiatives focused on reducing cycle times and increasing delivery efficiency.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Champion Agile best practices and organizational change management efforts.
Metrics & Reporting
- Track and report key performance indicators including:
- Time-to-onboard automation standards
- Sprint velocity and cycle time
- Team adoption rates
- Automation coverage and utilization
- Deliver data-driven insights and executive-level reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
- Use performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and process enhancement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Delivery Lead within engineering organizations.
- Proven success supporting high-speed Agile delivery environments.
- Experience leading Agile practices across multiple teams simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and modern software delivery practices.
- Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale onboarding, transformation, or process adoption initiatives.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or similar Agile certification.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale automation programs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code, and engineering enablement initiatives.
- Experience working within complex, matrixed enterprise environments.
