Salary Range: $117,000 - $166,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Plainwell that are seeking Engineering Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Oversee the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
• Drive the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering within a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects from conception to completion, including budget and timeline adherence.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, ML) in a manufacturing context.
• Certified in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
• Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and their application in manufacturing operations.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
