Agile Scrum Master / Delivery Lead

Overview / Summary

We are seeking an experienced Agile professional to support Scrum board ownership in partnership with the Product Owner. This role will help drive work item quality, ensure delivery completion, support cross-team collaboration, and maintain adherence to Agile best practices within a SAFe Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the Scrum board in partnership with the Product Owner
  • Work within SAFe Agile methodology and create cards where needed
  • Ensure cards are followed through to completion
  • Represent the team and their work in cross-team ceremonies
  • Vet work items to ensure robust business acceptance criteria
  • Vet work items to ensure robust technical acceptance criteria
  • Ensure adherence to the Definition of Done and help mature the definition over time
  • Partner with upstream and downstream teams to ensure all required needs are met
  • Ensure robust test plans are in place
  • Eliminate unvetted assumptions across work items and processes
  • Support testing and validation activities as needed

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in a role supporting the listed responsibilities
  • Experience with SAFe Agile methodology
  • Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to bring clarity out of confusion
  • Self-starter with curiosity and eagerness to strengthen team performance
  • Highly analytical with the ability to dig into cards and topics
  • Willingness to get hands dirty and assist with testing and validation
  • Scrum Master or Advanced Scrum Master certifications preferred
