Key Hubs: Paris (HQ), New York, Berlin, Warsaw, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Toronto
Employment Type: / Contract / Freelance

About the Role

We are looking for a rare and elite Workday HCM Consultant—one individual who can confidently operate across Core HCM, Talent Management, Absence Management, and Time Tracking. This is not a typical siloed role. You will be the go-to expert for end-to-end Workday configuration, optimization, and support across multiple modules, serving a global workforce with key hubs in Paris, New York, Berlin, Warsaw, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Toronto.

If you are the person who has somehow mastered both Absence and Time Tracking alongside HCM and Talent—you are exactly who we need.

Key Responsibilities

Core HCM

  • Configure and maintain business processes, organizations, positions, job profiles, and supervisory hierarchies.
  • Manage worker data (contingent and employee), cost centers, and location setups.
  • Support annual HCM cycles (compensation, merit, promotions).

Talent Management

  • Implement and support performance reviews, goal management, talent reviews, and succession plans.
  • Configure talent pools, career paths, and development plans.

Absence Management

  • Design and maintain absence types, calendars, eligibility rules, and accrual calculations.
  • Troubleshoot absence requests, integration errors, and leave balances across multiple countries.

Time Tracking

  • Configure time entry templates, time clocks, work schedules, and validation rules.
  • Support overtime, shift differentials, and time-off in lieu (TOIL) logic.
  • Ensure seamless integration between Time Tracking, Absence, and Payroll.

General

  • Provide tier 2/3 support and lead small-to-medium Workday releases.
  • Partner with global HR, Payroll, and IT teams in Europe, Americas, and APAC.
  • Document configurations and train regional HR superusers.
