Job Title: Technical Analyst Data Integration & Transformation Location: Dallas, TX Mode: Hybrid(3 day a week onsite)
Role Summary
We are seeking a Technical Analyst to support data integration initiatives involving SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), Oracle on-premises systems, and Databricks. The role will be responsible for analysing data mappings, defining data sharing requirements, documenting transformation logic, and acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse and document mappings between source data products and target Oracle tables/columns.
Identify and recommend data to be shared from SAP BDC into Databricks.
Define transformation requirements to convert raw source data into business-ready datasets within Databricks.
Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and user stories.
Coordinate across business users, developers, architects, and third-party vendors.
Produce high-quality documentation, including data mappings, requirements, and transformation specifications.
Support data validation, issue resolution, and gap analysis activities.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst.
Strong experience in data mapping, data lineage, and source-to-target analysis.
Good understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data transformation concepts.
Experience working with Oracle databases and SQL.
Experience working with Databricks or similar modern data platforms.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
Proven ability to bridge business and technical teams and drive requirements to completion.
Experience coordinating with cross-functional and third-party teams.
Nice to Have
Exposure to SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Datasphere, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP BW/BW4HANA.
Experience with cloud data platforms and lakehouse architectures.
Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
Exposure Ab-initio ETL tool.
Exposure to SAP BODS ETL tool.
