Job Description:   

• Support IT Asset Management (ITAM) operations and State of Good Repair (SOGR) lifecycle initiatives.  

• Analyze, validate, and maintain the MTA IT asset database and hardware inventory across multiple locations.  

• Ensure accurate and up-to-date asset records within ServiceNow.  

• Track IT assets throughout their complete lifecycle, including deployment, movement, recovery, and retirement.  

• Review and improve existing asset management processes, procedures, and workflows.  

• Perform inventory reconciliation, asset data analysis, and record validation.  

• Generate scheduled reports to support compliance, audits, and executive reporting.  

• Coordinate with IT field teams and end users for asset verification, deployment, and recovery activities.  

• Research device models, hardware standards, and part specifications.  

• Support the implementation of new asset management tools, systems, and ServiceNow modules.  

• Assist with large-scale IT deployment, recovery, and asset lifecycle management initiatives.  

• Maintain high levels of data accuracy, attention to detail, and compliance across enterprise asset management activities.

Detailed Job Description: We are seeking an Asset Management Analyst to support ongoing IT Asset Management operations and multiple State of Good Repair (SOGR) lifecycle initiatives. This role will assist in analyzing the MTA IT asset database, validating hardware inventories across multiple locations, and ensuring accuracy of all asset records within ServiceNow. The analyst will review and refine existing asset management processes and procedures, research new device models and part standards, and generate scheduled reporting to support compliance, audits, and executive oversight. 

The analyst will also be responsible for tracking computer-related assets throughout their lifecycle, coordinating with IT field teams and end users, and supporting the implementation of new asset management tools, systems, and modules. Experience with enterprise asset tracking, lifecycle management, inventory reconciliation, and data analysis is a plus, as well as familiarity with ServiceNow or other asset management platforms. Strong attention to detail and the ability to support large-scale deployment and recovery initiatives are essential.
