We are seeking a senior architect with:
8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise applications and integrations, including 3+ years leading solution architecture/design authority for complex programs
Experience designing solutions across CRM/SaaS platforms (including Salesforce), API integrations, third-party SaaS solutions, and custom/on-premises systems
Strong ability to partner with product owners and stakeholders to translate outcomes into technical requirements, architecture decisions, and delivery plans
Proven success guiding delivery teams through technical design reviews, implementation oversight, and release readiness
About the Role:
This architect will support modernization of core veteran services by defining end-to-end solutions that streamline service delivery, improve consistency and speed for veterans, strengthen audit readiness and compliance, and enable trusted reporting and operational insight. The solution direction is increasingly Salesforce-centered, supported by integrations to vendor platforms and remaining legacy/on-premises components.
Lead solution architecture for initiatives spanning loan services automation, call center transformation, and data modernization
Define end-to-end solution designs across CRM/SaaS platforms, integrations, vendor solutions, and legacy/on-prem components
Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to translate service goals into technical requirements, architecture decisions, and delivery plans
The ideal candidate will be proactive and able to work independently, coordinating closely with ITS leadership and project teams to ensure alignment with program goals and sustainable implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce and maintain architecture artifacts (current/future state, integration flows, solution options, decision records)
Define integration patterns and interface requirements; coordinate across internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure interoperability
Lead design reviews and technical governance; ensure implementation aligns to standards, security expectations, and maintainability goals
Support delivery execution (planning, dependency management, release readiness) and resolve cross-team technical risks
Project Description:
Modernization efforts are focused in three areas:
Loan Services Automation: streamline the end-to-end loan lifecycle from eligibility verification through lender/servicer coordination to reduce manual work and handoffs
Call Center Transformation: modernize call center processes and platform capabilities to improve response times, consistency, and omni-channel support
Data Modernization: modernize and integrate the data layer across veteran service areas to replace spreadsheets/manual reporting with trusted, accessible data and cross-domain reporting
