This role requires a high level technical specialist capable of independently analyzing ambiguous conversion issues, designing Windows specific solutions, and providing expert level troubleshooting support to the R&P modernization team.
Candidates should also be comfortable working with PowerShell or similar scripting tools to support automation and orchestration of SAS processes (preferred but not required).
Skill:
1.Design efficient data manipulation workflows using DATA steps, macros, and advanced SAS functions -10 Years
2.Proficiency in SAS 9.x on Windows, with specific experience adapting mainframe SAS logic to Windows file system conventions, directory structures, -10 Years
3.experience converting or re engineering SAS programs originally designed for z/OS or other mainframe environments - 10 Years
4.Strong competency in integrating SAS with Windows OS level operations is required, including automated file movement, rename logic, email generation - 10 Years
5.Ability to analyze and remediate SAS code dependencies on mainframe JCL constructs (e.g., DD statements, dataset naming conventions, DISP parameters - 10 Years
