  • Assess and modernize legacy applications including monoliths, custom platforms, and telecom systems.
  • Define target-state architectures aligned to FedRAMP security, scalability, and resiliency.
  • Advise on re-host, re-platform, and re-factor patterns within regulated constraints.
  • Ensure alignment between security, architecture, and business outcomes.
  • Apply telecommunications domain knowledge including high availability, resiliency, legacy dependencies, and data sovereignty.
  • Translate telecom constraints into compliant cloud architectures.
  • Support additional regulated clients such as justice, public safety, and federal-adjacent workloads.
  • Serve as primary FedRAMP and GovCloud advisor to executives and technology leaders.
  • Present executive-level narratives on risk, tradeoffs, and decision points.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across security, cloud, application modernization, and compliance.
  • Support pre-sales through roadmap creation, solution framing, and credibility building.

Experience Requirements:
  • 10+ years in cloud architecture, security, or regulated technology programs.
  • Direct, hands-on leadership of FedRAMP programs, preferably for multiple clients.
  • Proven experience with AWS GovCloud including architecture, services, and security patterns.
  • Experience migrating from on-prem and/or commercial AWS to GovCloud.
  • Strong understanding of NIST 800-53, FedRAMP controls, and compliance workflows.
  • Experience working with 3PAOs and federal or federal-adjacent stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and define strategy ahead of full technical detail.
  • Prior experience with telecommunications clients (preferred).
  • End-to-end FedRAMP Moderate and/or High authorizations (preferred).
  • Advisory experience pre-authorization, not only during audits (preferred).
  • Background in public safety, justice, or mission-critical systems (preferred).
  • AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or Security with GovCloud experience (preferred).

Education Requirements:
  • AWS Certifications such as Solutions Architect or Security.
