Position: Designer / Design Engineer

Job Description:

Engineers and Designers in this role will collaborate closely with Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) engineering teams to develop components and system-level designs that support handling, lifting, testing, assembly, and transportation of mechanical and electrical hardware. The selected candidate will contribute to cross-discipline product development and ensure high-quality engineering documentation, CAD model integrity, and drawing verification.

Responsibilities and Skills:

Use CREO to develop plans, 3D models, drawings, and engineering documentation for parts, assemblies, and installations.

Create and manage new components, assemblies, drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), simplified representations, and shrink-wrap models.

Provide design expertise and technical support to team members across engineering functions.

Interpret layout drawings and complete detailed design work in alignment with standard engineering drafting practices (e.g., ASME Y14.5).

Produce complete production-ready detail drawings for manufacturing.

Execute design updates and modifications to improve product quality, reliability, and manufacturability.
