Develop, design, transform, and implement critical feed processing, database and software systems, architecture, solutions, pipelines, automation for build and deployment, technical specifications, design documentation, data models, code, queries. Review requirements, optimization, performance, security, data retrieval, availability, backend services, workflows, automated and unit testing, version control, bug tracking, components, regulations, vulnerabilities, technical debt, project progress, artifacts. Confer with business users and product owners. Identify problems, analyze client/user needs, recommend modifications, and formulate validation plans. Use Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, JavaScript, Oracle, CI/CD, Spring Boot, SOAP and RESTful Web Services, PL/SQL, Git, Microservices, Agile, JMS, JPA, Kafka, Maven, Ansible, Autosys, Splunk. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years experience in the proffered position or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience developing architecture, solutions, code, components; performing unit testing; using Java, J2EE, Spring, JavaScript, Oracle, CI/CD, Spring Boot, SOAP and RESTful Web Services, PL/SQL, Git, Microservices, JMS, Kafka, Maven, Splunk. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $189,593 to $189,600/yr.
