Develop and design software for risk calculation processes, design patterns, database objects, tables, views, stored procedures, components, enterprise-scale distributed applications and solutions. Review requirements, business specifications, architecture, large data sets, quality, performance, scalability, sprints, backlog refinement, user stories, bug fixes, logging, downstream systems, data caching, databases, pipelines, POCs, troubleshooting, security, risks. Write code and queries, create system design and technical documentation, confer with DBAs. Perform unit, integration, and automation testing, analyze client/user needs, recommend modifications, and formulate validation plans. Use Java, SQL Server, Microservices, REST APIs, JPA, Spring Boot, React JS, Node JS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, NoSQL, SQL, CI/CD, Agile, DevOps/Lean, Jenkins, OpenShift, Spring Cloud, Redux, Bootstrap, AJAX, DB, Junit, Mockito, IntelliJ, GitHub, Jira, Splunk, Postman, Maven, Gradle, AppDynamics, Elasticsearch, uDeploy, Autosys. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years experience in the proffered position or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience developing components, enterprise-scale distributed applications, pipelines; reviewing performance, downstream systems, POCs, security, risks; writing code; using Java, Microservices, REST APIs, JPA, Spring Boot, React JS, Node JS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, NoSQL, SQL, CI/CD, Agile, DevOps, Redux, Bootstrap, Junit. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $178,132 to $178,150 /yr.
