Our client is seeking a Salesforce Architect x2 in Richmond, VA
Role Description
This individual will play a critical role in aligning Salesforce and related systems with the company's business strategies through needs assessments, and solution design, configuration and end-user delivery. This role involves gathering business requirements from internal stakeholders, soliciting product and enhancement needs from end users, and translating these into scalable Salesforce solutions that maximize business and user value. The individual will also oversee system design documentation and support the successful rollout of new Salesforce features, integrations, and enhancements.
Serve as the Salesforce subject matter expert, facilitating and translating business requirements into technical specifications for new features, integrations, and system upgrades.
Lead efforts to optimize Salesforce functionality, including automation, workflows, and data integrity, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure Salesforce solutions meet business requirements and compliance standards.
Partner with decision makers, system owners, and end users to identify operational requirements and define Salesforce system goals.
Act as the technical liaison for Salesforce-related initiatives during presentations to Application and Architecture Review Board.
Lead design sessions for Salesforce enhancements, including prototyping new functionality to improve business processes and information flow.
Develop and maintain Salesforce design documentation (data flow diagrams, workflows, integration maps) across the organization.
Provide systems analysis focused on Salesforce, including gap identification, technical requirements, and operational process mapping.
Continuously improve Salesforce and related workflows by analyzing current practices and designing enhancements.
Ensure proper controls and security measures are embedded in Salesforce designs and workflows.
Review and analyze the effectiveness of existing Salesforce configurations and develop strategies for optimization.
Establish and document support structures, roles, and responsibilities for Salesforce applications prior to production readiness.
Perform troubleshooting and triage for Salesforce-related incidents in alignment with established problem and incident management processes.
Represent Salesforce production changes and project-related efforts in Change Control Board forums.
Actively participate in and lead system and unit testing for Salesforce modifications and new features, including post-implementation support.
Skills & Requirements
College diploma or university degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or management information systems, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 8+ years related work experience.
Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and administration, including experience with SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, FinancialServiceCloud and integrations.
Strong IT background with knowledge of banking operations, products, and
processes.
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly language.
Ability to conduct research into Salesforce issues and emerging features.
Highly self-motivated and directed, with strong critical thinking and process reengineering skills.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Experience working in a collaborative, customer-centric environment.
Familiarity with corporate security policies and managing Salesforce user access and profiles.
Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and administration, including experience with SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, Financial Services Cloud and integrations.
