Summary

Overview

Serves as the technical authority and mentor within the Software Implementation team. Leads and executes complex implementations of Panasonic manufacturing software platforms such as PanaCIM, iLNB, and DGS, while ensuring high standards of quality, documentation, and efficiency. Defines best practices for deployment and troubleshooting, guides engineers in developing technical skills, and drives Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project success and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities

SERVICE SUPPORT & AUDITING
  • Lead and execute high-complexity, multi-site, and multi-server implementations of PanaCIM, iLNB, DGS, and integrated solutions.
  • Serve as the final technical authority for planning, configuration, and integration across software, network, and database layers.
  • Lead technical audits of project planning, execution, and closure to ensure strict adherence to deployment and documentation standards.
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting, deep-dive root-cause analysis, and technical escalation support for the region.
  • Architect technical proficiency across the team through formal mentoring and project-based coaching.
  • Proactively identify team skill gaps and recommend targeted training to strengthen regional implementation capability.

STRATEGIC CONSULTING & SALES LOOPBACK
  • Partner with Sales and Management to elicit and document complex customer requirements, translating them into scalable architectures.
  • Represent Implementation Services as a subject matter expert in strategic customer reviews and pre-sales consultations.
  • Identify expansion opportunities for software modules or advanced features within the existing customer base to drive organic growth.
  • Serve as a direct technical loopback to Software Sales Engineers, providing field-derived insights to inform solution design and product roadmaps.

LEAN/CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
  • Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives specifically targeting deployment efficiency, knowledge capture, and quality consistency.
  • Develop and promote automation, CI/CD processes, and standardized templates to eliminate manual configuration errors.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and methodologies to improve the maintainability and performance of customer environments

SALES SUPPORT
  • Participate in exhibitions and demonstrations of equipment at trade shows, PA demo room, or customer sites, informing customers and responding to technical and specification questions and concerns.
  • Identify sales opportunities and inform Sales as appropriate.

ADMIN & TRAINING
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all project and technical documentation for the team.
  • Facilitate Lessons Learned sessions and promote internal technical training to foster a culture of shared knowledge.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new engineers through structured technical mentoring and knowledge transfer

Scope:
  • Acts as the senior technical lead and mentor for the Implementation Services team.
  • Provides technical direction and identifies development opportunities for peers but does not perform formal personnel assessments.
  • No budget or direct reports, but significant influence on technical outcomes and continuous improvement strategy.

Education & Experience: Technical Degree Required.
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering required; advanced degree preferred; equivalent professional experience (typically 2 years of relevant experience for every 1 year of required education) and recognized industry leadership/certifications (e.g., ASQ CSQE, Lean Six Sigma, Linux+) may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 8 + years of experience in software implementation, including technical leadership roles.
  • Expert in Linux (Ubuntu), Docker, Kubernetes, SQL/PostgreSQL, and enterprise networking.
  • Hands-on experience with Panasonic manufacturing software (PanaCIM, iLNB, DGS) required.
  • CompTIA Linux+ and Network+ required.
  • ASQ CSQE/CQE or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Other Requirements:
  • Capable of lifting over 50 pounds (22.7 kg), standing for long periods on factory floors, and maneuvering in factory production environments and confined spaces to execute technical activities.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (often 95 % or greater), domestically and internationally, often with very short notice, with flexible work hours, including non-standard business hours, weekends, and occasional holidays, as may be necessary to meet customer project schedules and demands.
  • Additional tasks as assigned and reviewed.
  • Willingness to relocate is a plus.

Salary Range

$100,000 - $120,000 + Bonus REQ-155647
