The Ask? Client is looking for a ServiceNow Sol. Architect ( BCM) with a solid and progressive consulting experience to design, implement, and optimize our BCM processes within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow solution architecture, specifically with a deep understanding of foundation data setup, BCM plan development, roles and access control, data migration, and reporting within the ServiceNow ecosystem. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills to translate business requirements into robust and scalable ServiceNow solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Define and own the end-to-end ServiceNow solution architecture aligned with business and IT strategy.
- Architect and Design BCM Solutions: Lead the design and architecture of comprehensive BCM solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Foundation Data Setup: Drive the establishment and configuration of foundational data structures critical for BCM, including entities, services, dependencies, and risk registers within ServiceNow.
- Roles and Access Controls: Design, implement, and manage a robust roles and access control framework for BCM processes, ensuring appropriate segregation of duties and data security.
- Plan Management Build: Develop and configuring BCM plan templates (e.g., Crisis Management, IT Disaster Recovery, Business Unit Recovery), including the design and setup of documentation sections for BCP plans and associated loss scenarios.
- Approval and Notification Workflows: Architect and implement efficient approval workflows and notification mechanisms for BCM plan activation, updates, testing, and incident response within ServiceNow.
- Data Migration: Oversee and execute the migration of existing active BCM plans and related data from legacy systems or spreadsheets into the ServiceNow BCM module, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Reporting and Dashboards: Design and develop insightful reports and interactive dashboards to monitor BCM program health, track plan statuses, manage incidents, and provide key metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development teams and stakeholders throughout the BCM solution lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with BCM stakeholders, business units, IT teams, and other architects to gather requirements, define scope, and ensure successful solution delivery.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with ServiceNow platform capabilities, BCM best practices, and emerging technologies to recommend and implement continuous improvements to our BCM solutions. Mentorship: Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Experience leading client workshops, gathering business and technical requirements, and translating them into clear, well-defined user stories.
