Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, highly analytical Data Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in Tableau, Salesforce, Snowflake, and SQL to support enterprise reporting, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making within a healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will extract, analyze, and transform complex datasets into meaningful business insights while partnering with business stakeholders, IT teams, and data engineering resources. This is a hands-on technical role requiring advanced SQL, Tableau visualization, and experience with Salesforce data and Snowflake.

Data Analysis & Business Intelligence

·         Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and operational performance indicators.

·         Translate business requirements into actionable reporting and analytical solutions.

·         Develop and maintain enterprise dashboards, scorecards, and business intelligence reports.

·         Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, reporting requirements, and data definitions.

·         Provide ad hoc analysis to support decisions and identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and automation.

Tableau Development & Visualization

·         Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

·         Build intuitive dashboards for business and executive audiences.

·         Develop calculated fields, parameters, filters, and level-of-detail (LOD) expressions.

·         Optimize dashboard and data-source performance, scalability, and usability.

·         Publish, maintain, and support dashboards in Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud.

SQL & Snowflake Data Analysis

·         Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.

·         Query large datasets in Snowflake for reporting and analytical needs.

·         Use joins, common table expressions (CTEs), window functions, aggregations, and transformations.

·         Perform data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.

·         Collaborate with data engineers on pipelines, data models, and source-to-target mappings; troubleshoot discrepancies and performance.

Salesforce Data & Reporting

·         Analyze Salesforce data to support business operations, performance reporting, and decision-making.

·         Work with standard and custom objects, fields, relationships, and data structures.

·         Extract and reconcile Salesforce data with Snowflake and other enterprise sources.

·         Combine Salesforce information with operational and financial datasets in reporting solutions.

·         Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, developers, and business users to resolve data quality and reporting issues.

Healthcare Data & Business Collaboration

·         Support analytics involving healthcare operations, member services, provider networks, claims, or related functions.

·         Understand healthcare workflows and reporting needs through partnership with business and technology teams.

·         Handle sensitive healthcare information in accordance with HIPAA and organizational data governance policies.

·         Document, validate, and standardize reporting; present findings to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

·         5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or enterprise reporting.

·         Strong hands-on Tableau expertise: dashboard development, advanced calculations, visualization, and performance optimization.

·         Advanced SQL: complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, and query optimization.

·         Hands-on Snowflake experience querying, analyzing, and validating cloud warehouse data.

·         Experience with Salesforce data, including objects, relationships, extraction, and reporting.

·         Ability to integrate multiple enterprise data sources; understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and data quality.

·         Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions; strong communication, troubleshooting, and independent prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·         Healthcare, health insurance, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), or other regulated-industry experience.

·         Knowledge of claims, eligibility, provider, member, or clinical operations data.

·         Salesforce Health Cloud, Service Cloud, or Sales Cloud; SOQL and Salesforce extraction tools.

·         ETL/ELT processes, data integration platforms, Python, or dbt.

·         Dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data warehousing concepts.

·         Agile delivery experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.

·         Tableau, Snowflake, or Salesforce certifications.

Ideal Candidate

A technically strong, hands-on analyst who can independently work across Tableau, Salesforce, Snowflake, and SQL to deliver accurate reporting and actionable insights. The candidate can write advanced SQL, work confidently in Snowflake, understand Salesforce data structures, and build Tableau dashboards from the ground up—not simply run existing reports
