PTR Tester

Job Description

·         Python (Programming Language)                      3 – 5 years

·         Structured Query Language (SQL)                      3 – 5 years

·         Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI)    3 – 5 years

·         Application Testing                                                  3 – 5 years

Role Description: 

The Functional Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of the software products. Key responsibilities include:

·         Creating detailed functional test scripts and identifying relevant test data.

·         Executing test scripts in lower environments to validate software functionality.

·         Logging functional defects and issues via HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool.

·         Converting manual test scripts into automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.

·         Collaborating with developers to understand requirements and ensure that the test cases cover all possible scenarios.

·         Communicating test results and findings to the development team and stakeholders.

·         Participating in test planning and strategy meetings to enhance the testing process.

·         Continuously improving testing processes and tools to increase the effectiveness of the testing effort.

·         Leveraging Co-Pilot to assist with test prep and execution

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree
