Role Description: 

The Functional Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of the software products. Key responsibilities include:

• Creating detailed functional test scripts and identifying relevant test data.
• Executing test scripts in lower environments to validate software functionality.
• Logging functional defects and issues via HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool.
• Converting manual test scripts into automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Collaborating with developers to understand requirements and ensure that the test cases cover all possible scenarios.
• Communicating test results and findings to the development team and stakeholders.
• Participating in test planning and strategy meetings to enhance the testing process.
• Continuously improving testing processes and tools to increase the effectiveness of the testing effort.
• Leveraging Co-Pilot to assist with test prep and execution

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree

Clearance Required: Public Trust
