Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) to support enterprise cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments while leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices.

This role requires close collaboration with infrastructure, security, architecture, and DevOps teams to build resilient cloud solutions and support production operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Build and support automated CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments.
  • Configure and manage Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), Shared VPCs, networking, compute, and storage resources.
  • Implement cloud security, IAM policies, and governance best practices.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure using logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues while supporting production environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration, modernization, and automation projects.
  • Develop technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation supporting enterprise cloud environments.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services.
  • 5+ years of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform or similar tools.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML.
  • Experience administering both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Cloud Networking
    • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
    • Cloud Security
    • Monitoring & Logging
    • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
    • Containers and Infrastructure Automation
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certification.
  • Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer Certification.
  • Experience with enterprise CI/CD tools such as:
    • Azure DevOps
    • GitHub Actions
    • GitLab CI
  • Experience supporting enterprise cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
