Description
The Technical Release Manager is responsible for defining, planning, coordinating, and delivering application releases across the organization. This role partners closely with both business and technology stakeholders to align business requests, enterprise technical direction, and organizational priorities, ensuring releases are delivered effectively and in support of strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience managing software releases within a structured SDLC environment. Experience working in Agile environments-and serving as an Agile Scrum Master-is strongly preferred.
As the owner of end-to-end release activities and associated SDLC artifacts, the Release Manager serves as the primary point of coordination and communication across cross-functional teams, including Business Process Owners, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, Project Management Office, Infrastructure and Platform Services, Production Support, and other key partners. This individual will lead releases from initial planning through production implementation and post-release monitoring.
The Release Manager will apply strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to track release progress, identify and resolve issues, validate completion of all release activities, and escalate risks as needed to ensure successful and timely delivery.
Experience with ITSM Remedy and ServiceNow
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or related field with 10+ years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified above
5+ years in a similar role, e.g. scrum master, release manager, program manager, Portfolio manager
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Application Risk Management experience
Proven success and accountability in leading and managing large scale application delivery
Extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication
The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users and subject matter experts within all levels of the company
Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and management of metrics to measure and improve the quality of the releases
Strong Leadership Skills to drive teams towards successful delivery of release plans and that motivates team to achieve and maintain quality in a creative and effective manner

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $52.00/hr.
