Job Description:
Pay Range: $65hr - $70hr
  • The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for driving product execution, managing the product roadmap, and ensuring disciplined delivery of analytics and web-based applications.
  • This role involves working closely with technical, analytics, and business teams to translate requirements into well-defined product features and ensure efficient sprint and release management.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain product roadmap discipline and align scope with development capacity.
  • Pressure-test feature scope versus resources and recommend clear trade-offs.
  • Maintain structured backlog management and ensure predictable sprint velocity.
  • Define release-ready criteria for internal product launches.
  • Drive efficient sprint planning and release processes.
  • Develop detailed product requirement documents and development tickets.
  • Create user flows including edge cases.
  • Develop wireframes or mockups where required.
  • Define acceptance criteria and underlying data logic.
  • Break down features into development-ready tasks.
  • Define requirements for application, data, AI, and business intelligence layers.
  • Identify opportunities to use natural language and AI capabilities within analytics tools.
  • Design user-facing workflows using natural language interactions.
  • Ensure proper safeguards to prevent misleading analytical outputs.
  • Balance innovation with reliability in delivering financial insights.
  • Partner with technical leads on architecture and delivery planning.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to maintain data integrity and clear definitions.
  • Establish structured stakeholder intake and feedback processes.
  • Translate stakeholder feedback into prioritized product roadmap initiatives.
  • Develop stakeholder communication materials and product updates.
  • Facilitate user training and onboarding activities.
  • Assess development and data team capacity and identify execution bottlenecks.
  • Recommend scope adjustments based on available resources.
  • Provide structured analysis of resource needs.
Skills:
  • Strong product management and roadmap planning skills.
  • Experience developing detailed product requirements and documentation.
  • Ability to work with structured data and semantic models.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence and analytics product development.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and high-visibility environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
  • 7 12+ years of product management experience.
  • Experience delivering business intelligence or analytics products.
  • Experience launching modern web applications.
  • Experience working with structured data and semantic models.
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams and consultants.
Should Have:
  • Experience with Power BI including Q&A and semantic models.
  • Experience integrating NLP or LLM capabilities into analytics environments.
  • Experience in private equity or portfolio analytics environments.
  • Familiarity with finance and accounting concepts.
  • Consulting experience.
