YSI is seeking a highly qualified Blazor UI Developer. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Performs hands-on Blazor UI and JavaScript development supporting XML-to-HTML translation, DOM interaction, event-driven UI behavior, and C# integration.
- Develops Blazor UI components; consumes XML from middle-tier services; translates XML structures into interactive HTML; implements HTML event handlers; uses JavaScript interop to process user edits, selections, and browser DOM state.
- Writes secure client-side/server-side UI code and uses Azure DevOps Git for branching, merges, reviews, and repository check-ins.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years developing web-based applications and minimum 5 years using C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Demonstrated Blazor Server experience; direct browser DOM experience; understanding of XML structures, elements, attributes, and hierarchy; experience translating XML into HTML for web UI display and interaction
- Familiarity with structured XML standards such as DITA, DocBook, or custom XML schemas used in document-centric systems.
Certifications:
- Must hold at least one Government-accepted certification: AZ-204, Microsoft .NET Developer/equivalent, CIW Advanced HTML5 & CSS3 Specialist, CIW JavaScript Specialist, or Government-approved equivalent.
