About the Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in transforming complex engineering designs into scalable manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop clear production documentation, drive operational excellence, and implement innovative technologies that improve quality, efficiency, and delivery performance.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges, optimizing production systems, and leading continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

Translate engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials into detailed and easy-to-follow manufacturing work instructions.

Develop and implement automation solutions and advanced manufacturing technologies to improve productivity and build efficiency.

Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations to identify and resolve manufacturing and quality issues.

Drive Lean Six Sigma projects focused on reducing waste, improving process capability, and enhancing operational performance.

Design and implement process improvements that reduce cost, increase product quality, and shorten production cycle times.

Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and support new product introduction.

Support manufacturing floor operations by troubleshooting production issues and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Utilize data-driven decision-making to monitor process performance and implement sustainable corrective actions.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field.

3+ years of experience creating and maintaining technical manufacturing work instructions.

3+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings and applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.

3+ years of experience using SAP in a manufacturing environment.

3+ years of experience applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and techniques.

3+ years of experience working with electromechanical and/or optical assemblies.

3+ years of experience using Creo/ProE, particularly for tooling or manufacturing-related design activities.

3+ years of experience supporting production operations within a manufacturing floor environment.

3+ years of experience leading RCCA investigations involving complex manufacturing or quality issues.

3+ years of experience implementing process improvements through automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with high-precision manufacturing or complex assembly processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

Experience leading cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear technical documentation.

Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing process development.
