Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Slate CRM Consultant to support the implementation of the Student Success functionality within Slate. This role will focus on designing, configuring, and optimizing student success processes, workflows, communications, reporting, and data structures to align with university objectives. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to develop scalable processes and ensure successful adoption of Slate's Student Success capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the configuration and implementation of the Student Success framework within Slate CRM.
Collaborate with university stakeholders to define and document business processes, workflows, and operational procedures.
Design and configure automated workflows, triggers, rules, and task management processes within Slate.
Develop and manage email communications, notification templates, and communication journeys for student engagement and retention initiatives.
Configure student profile views, dashboards, and user interfaces to support advisors, administrators, and student success teams.
Create and maintain queries, datasets, entities, and data structures that support institutional reporting and operational requirements.
Develop reports, analytics dashboards, and performance metrics to track student success initiatives and outcomes.
Support data integration efforts by configuring data mappings, entities, imports, exports, and related processes in alignment with university standards.
Partner with functional and technical teams to ensure data integrity, governance, and consistency across systems.
Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshooting activities throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Develop implementation documentation, process documentation, and end-user training materials.
Provide recommendations for best practices, process improvements, and optimization of Slate Student Success functionality.
Required Qualifications:
Hands-on experience implementing and configuring Slate CRM, preferably within higher education environments.
Strong understanding of student success, student affairs, advising, retention, or enrollment management business processes.
Experience configuring workflows, forms, communications, portals, dashboards, and reporting within Slate.
Proficiency in creating queries, datasets, entities, reports, and automation rules.
Experience supporting system integrations, data mapping, and data governance initiatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business process design skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with Slate Student Success implementations.
Experience working with colleges, universities, or higher education institutions.
Knowledge of student lifecycle management, advising workflows, retention programs, and student engagement strategies.
Experience with SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools is a plus.
Familiarity with SIS, ERP, and higher education technology ecosystems.
