Multimedia Production Specialist

Description

We are looking for a talented Multimedia Production Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will oversee the creation of impactful multimedia content, leveraging your expertise in video production, design, and storytelling. This position combines strategic thinking with hands-on production to ensure our message resonates across multiple platforms. Based in Miami, Florida, this role offers a hybrid work structure, blending on-site and remote flexibility.

Responsibilities:
Plan and execute video production projects, including shooting, editing, and post-production.
Design and create motion graphics for multimedia content.
Capture high-quality photographs and perform meticulous photo editing.
Develop digital assets such as advertisements, campaign materials, and other visual designs.
Craft compelling narratives and ensure consistent storytelling across all platforms.
Collaborate on strategies to enhance media relations and earned media opportunities.
Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and other multimedia tools to produce engaging, visually appealing content.
Coordinate video shoots on-site while managing remote tasks such as editing and design.
Adapt content to fit diverse platforms, maintaining brand consistency and audience appeal.
Stay updated with industry trends to continuously improve multimedia production techniques.

Requirements

Proficiency in video production, including shooting, editing, and equipment handling.
Expertise in motion graphics and graphic design.
Skilled in photography and photo editing.
Strong storytelling abilities, with a focus on creating engaging narratives.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and other multimedia software.
Knowledge of earned media strategies and media relations.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
Previous experience in higher education is a plus.
