Role: Systems Analyst
Location: Onsite Tallahassee, FL (5 days/week required)
Duration: Long-term (initial 6+ months)
Project Overview:
FDLE is modernizing the legacy Missing Endangered Persons Information Clearinghouse (MEPIC) system into a secure, web-based platform using modern Java and Angular technologies. The consultant will work closely with FDLE s Project Manager, ITS teams, and business stakeholders to design, develop, test, and implement the upgraded system.
Key Technical Requirements:
12+ years of experience across SDLC and enterprise application development
Strong Systems Analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation experience
Frontend: Angular with modern UI/UX principles (Material Design / Fluent UI), state management (NgRx / NGXS / Signals), Section 508 compliance
Backend: Java 21 (LTS), Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Security 6, REST APIs
Jakarta EE 10 (JAX-RS, JPA, CDI, JTA, Security)
Application Server: JBoss EAP 8
Database: MS SQL Server 2019/2022 with strong T-SQL
CI/CD tools: Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube, Bitbucket
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Preferred:
Government, Law Enforcement or Public Safety project experience
Master s Degree or equivalent project leadership experience
