An Engineering Supervisor oversees engineering teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating workflows, and ensuring compliance with quality standards, codes, and regulations. The supervisor supports problem-solving efforts, provides technical guidance, hands on projects, and collaborates with management and cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Consistently demonstrates exceptional leadership by effectively supervising and motivating engineering staff, resulting in high productivity, accountability, and team moral.

Performs engineering work to ensure all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards

Serves as a subject-matter expert, providing advanced technical guidance and resolving engineering issues with sound judgment.

Proactively enforces safety policies and cultivates a strong safety culture, achieving outstanding compliance and risk-reduction outcomes

Coordinates engineering activities seamlessly with management, operations, and contractors, to support organizational objectives

Leads and implements continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve system reliability

Mentors, coaches, and evaluates staff performance, actively supporting professional growth.

Plays a vital role in training, ensuring a highly skilled and competent workforce

Manages resources, schedules, and workloads with exceptional effectiveness, balancing operational demands with employee well-being

Produces clear, accurate, and timely reports and recommendations for leadership decision-making

Exemplifies professionalism, accountability, and integrity while representing the Engineering Department at the highest level

Qualifications:
  • A minimum ofthree (3)years building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years supervisory experience.
  • Excellent customer skills
  • Problem Solving.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Pool operating experience preferred.
