Role: Gigamon Architecture & Assessment Lead
Location: Remote (PST)
Duration: 6+ Months
Objective: Conduct a comprehensive assessment of a large-scale Gigamon visibility fabric. The candidate will evaluate the current state, identify gaps in security and operational visibility, and provide strategic recommendations for optimization and future-state design.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Audit: Perform deep-dive assessments of Gigamon hardware (HC/TA series) and software/firmware configurations.
Strategic Gap Analysis: Interview client stakeholders to translate high-level business needs into technical visibility requirements.
Security Optimization: Review traffic brokerage policies to ensure security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS) are receiving high-fidelity, decrypted data.
Benchmarking: Compare current Gigamon implementation against industry standards and comparable technologies (e.g., Keysight, Arista, etc.).
Ideal Profile:
The "Architect " Mindset: Not just a configurer, but someone who understands why traffic is being routed a certain way.
Deep GigaSMART Expertise: Must have hands-on experience with advanced features like SSL/TLS Decryption, De-duplication, and Flow Mapping.
Consultative Background: Experience working within "Big 4 " or large consultancy frameworks
Certification: Ideally Gigamon Professional (Google Cloud Platform) certified.
