JANUS Research Group is seeking a Senior Knowledge Management Engineer to support A-FCD enterprise information management, data integration, collaboration, analytics, and decision-support activities. The Senior KM Engineer will help establish an integrated information environment that standardizes and connects disparate A-FCD information sources and provides accessible, reusable information and analytical products across Directorate organizations.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and maintain data and information architectures supporting A-FCD operations.

Standardize data definitions and establish relationships among data elements.

Integrate disparate data sources into common analytical, reporting, and dashboard environments.

Develop database queries, reporting interfaces, and visual information products supporting multiple levels of users.

Support SharePoint, content-management systems, intranet collaboration environments, and other enterprise knowledge-sharing tools.

Develop approaches for organizing, storing, retrieving, sharing, and maintaining Directorate information.

Develop and maintain POAMs supporting establishment of collaborative tools and data-sharing interfaces.

Identify and implement improvements to information flow and collaboration across A-FCD divisions.

Support development of Directorate-level dashboards, portfolio analytics, and decision-support products.

Develop governance procedures, technical documentation, information-management standards, and user guidance.

Coordinate data and information requirements with AFSIM modelers, MBSE personnel, Aviation SMEs, and program leadership.

Provide technical guidance to other KM/data personnel.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, Communications, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.

Experience in one or more of the following: database management, information architecture, data architecture, knowledge management, technical writing, or project management.

Experience with SharePoint, content-management systems, or enterprise collaboration platforms.

Experience standardizing data and establishing relationships among disparate data elements.

Experience designing queries, reporting interfaces, dashboards, or visual analytical products.

Demonstrated experience integrating multiple disparate data sources.

Strong analytical, organizational, technical-writing, and communication skills.

Active Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Army or DoD knowledge-management experience.

Experience with Power BI or similar data-visualization tools.

Experience with data governance or enterprise information architecture.

Experience supporting digital engineering, mission engineering, modeling and simulation, or requirements organizations.
