CVS is looking for a curious, collaborative Application Developer to help build powerful, user-centric solutions that move our business forward. In this role, you'll design and develop advanced applications, improve development processes, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact results. What You'll Do in this Independent Contributor Role"
  • Build and enhance applications that improve user experience and support business goals
  • Translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Drive development best practices, automation, and quality improvements
  • Manage timelines, resources, and cross-team collaboration
  • Communicate with key stakeholders and lead project updates
  • Mentor team members and contribute to a high-performance engineering culture
  • Integrate new technologies and industry trends to support continuous innovation

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years in healthcare, consulting, or related fields
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, pandas, NumPy
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud)
  • 3+ years creating dashboards/visualizations (ThoughtSpot, Power BI, Dash, Plotly)
  • Experience building automated data pipelines
  • Strong collaboration with cross-functional technical and clinical teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with healthcare data, cost/utilization metrics, risk adjustment, or value-based care
  • Machine learning, statistical analysis, or generative AI exposure
  • Git/GitHub/GitLab, BigQuery, SQL Server, Airflow, .NET
  • Ability to present insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$83,430.00 - $185,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
