Job Title: Senior z/OS Systems Automation Engineer - Remote / Telecommute

Pay Range: $50.00hr - $55.00hr
Job Overview:
The candidate will work in a mainframe operations environment focusing on z/OS, NetView, IBM System Automation (SA), REXX, TSO/ISPF, JCL, PDB, and automation or migration projects.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working in a mainframe operations environment providing an operational, service, consultancy, or support role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use TSO and ISPF.
- Proficiency in JCL.
- Ability to write REXX scripts and working knowledge of the System Automation Policy Database (PDB).
- Experience with z/OS automation migration projects.
- Experience implementing and using NetView for z/OS and System Automation for z/OS, with a desire to expand skills to cover other products.
Preferred Technical Expertise:
- Knowledge of other IBM Z software, including system operation, configuration, automation, z/OS system startup and shutdown, and SMP/E.
- Knowledge of products that compete against the specified IBM products.
- Experience with fully automated system configurations on IBM Z.
