The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is recruiting a visionary Global Logistics Manager to spearhead the international movement of critical components within the commercial aviation sector. In this high-impact role, you will be the primary architect of a seamless, worldwide supply chain, ensuring that sophisticated aerospace assemblies reach their destinations with precision and regulatory integrity. What You’ll Do

  • Architect and implement a comprehensive global logistics roadmap that optimizes speed, cost, and reliability across international borders.

  • Champion the administration and optimization of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to ensure digital transparency and data-driven decision-making.

  • Direct all air and ocean freight activities, managing the complexities of high-priority, time-sensitive, and oversized aerospace shipments.

  • Enforce strict adherence to international trade regulations and compliance standards, mitigating risk in a highly regulated commercial environment.

  • Negotiate and govern high-level contracts with third-party logistics providers and global suppliers to ensure peak service levels.

  • Synthesize cross-functional efforts between procurement, manufacturing, and quality departments to harmonize the flow of materials.

  • Drive fiscal accountability by managing the logistics budget and identifying opportunities for sustainable cost reduction and process improvement.

  • Monitor and report on critical KPIs, utilizing performance metrics to fuel a culture of continuous operational enhancement.

  • Cultivate supply chain resilience by proactively identifying and neutralizing potential disruptions within the global network.


What You Bring

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, Logistics, Business, or a related technical field.

  • Industry Expertise: At least 7 years of progressive leadership in transportation or logistics management, specifically within aerospace or a similarly complex industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Technical Proficiency: Extensive hands-on experience with TMS platforms and a deep understanding of multimodal execution (Air, Ocean, and Land).

  • Compliance Mastery: Solid command of global trade principles and a working knowledge of Incoterms 2020.

  • Aviation Fluency: Specific experience supporting commercial aircraft programs, including managing Aircraft on Ground (AOG) or other time-critical logistics, is highly preferred.

  • Systems Knowledge: Exposure to SAP or equivalent enterprise-level ERP systems is a significant advantage.

  • Global Mindset: Proven ability to navigate multinational supply chains and lead diverse teams across different time zones, including a willingness to travel 20-30%.
