We are seeking an experienced Industry Architect with deep expertise in the Energy & Utilities domain to design and deliver enterprise solutions that support utility business operations, digital transformation, grid modernization, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams, define solution architectures, and ensure alignment with industry best practices.

  • Design end-to-end architecture solutions for utility business applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives across Energy & Utilities projects.
  • Develop solution architectures aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Support Grid Modernization, Smart Grid, AMI, GIS, OMS, DMS, and CIS initiatives.
  • Define integration architecture using APIs, middleware, and cloud technologies.
  • Ensure scalability, security, reliability, and performance of enterprise solutions.
  • Work closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams throughout the SDLC.
  • Provide technical leadership during solution design, implementation, and production support.
  • Review architecture artifacts, technical documentation, and solution designs.
  • Mentor technical teams and provide architectural governance.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

  • 10+ years of IT experience with significant experience in the Energy & Utilities domain.
  • Strong understanding of electric utility business processes.
  • Experience with utility platforms such as:
    • CIS (Customer Information System)
    • OMS (Outage Management System)
    • GIS (Geographic Information System)
    • DMS (Distribution Management System)
    • AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure)
    • SCADA
    • Asset Management
  • Experience in enterprise architecture and solution design.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience with API integrations, microservices, and middleware.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience working with electric utility clients such as Oncor.
  • TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures.
  • Knowledge of utility regulatory compliance and cybersecurity.
  • Experience with SAP Utilities, Oracle Utilities, or IBM Maximo is a plus.
