ADMS Edge Application Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ADMS Edge Application Engineer to support the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) Edge Applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in electric utility operations, SCADA, Distribution Management Systems (DMS), and ADMS applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and support ADMS Edge Applications in utility environments.
• Develop and maintain ADMS application configurations based on business requirements.
• Support SCADA, DMS, OMS, and Distribution Automation integrations.
• Configure and troubleshoot applications such as FLISR, Volt/VAR Optimization (VVO), State Estimation (SE), Distribution Power Flow (DPF), and Fault Location.
• Integrate ADMS with GIS, AMI, OMS, EMS, and other utility enterprise systems.
• Analyze operational issues and provide root cause analysis and resolution.
• Perform system testing, validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support production deployments and post-implementation activities.
• Collaborate with utility business users, solution architects, developers, and QA teams.
• Prepare technical documentation, configuration guides, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ADMS, DMS, EMS, or SCADA applications.
• Strong understanding of electric utility distribution operations.
• Experience with ADMS Edge Applications.
• Hands-on experience with SCADA, DMS, OMS, GIS, and AMI integration.
• Knowledge of Distribution Network Modeling and Electrical Distribution Systems.
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows server environments.
• Experience in application configuration, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with GE GridOS/e-terra ADMS, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure ADMS, Siemens Spectrum Power, or OSI Monarch.
• Knowledge of CIM (Common Information Model), IEC 61850, ICCP, DNP3, and IEC 60870 protocols.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is a plus.
