We are seeking an Application Architect to join our team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining critical business workflows using Oracle technologies. The position involves writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, performing advanced performance tuning, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of database interactions. The candidate will collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to deliver features efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries and execution plans for high performance and scalability.
- Perform advanced performance tuning using tools such as AWR reports, SQL Trace, and index optimization.
- Review code and pull requests to ensure adherence to coding standards, performance efficiency, and security best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing logs, database metrics, and system behavior.
- Improve automation across builds, deployments, and database-related test suites.
- Monitor database and application health, address technical debt, and mitigate performance risks.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams on solution design.
- Mentor team members on SQL best practices, performance tuning techniques, and database architecture principles.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:- Expertise in Oracle Database with strong PL/SQL and SQL skills.
- Proven experience building and maintaining complex PL/SQL solutions in production environments.
- Advanced performance tuning knowledge.
Professional Skills:- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to analyze complex issues and deliver effective solutions.
- Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking to balance immediate delivery needs with long-term architectural considerations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Oracle GoldenGate for replication, data synchronization, and real-time data integration is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $70.00/hr - $73.68/hr
