Hybrid 4 days onsite in Maryland Heights, MO

The Project Manager II will lead network and infrastructure initiatives across corporate and customer environments for our client during a complex merger integration. The role manages full lifecycle delivery for connectivity and data center projects, with ownership of scope, schedule, budget, and risk in a large enterprise setting. The position requires close coordination with network, infrastructure, and data center teams, as well as disciplined use of Cherwell, Jira, and Microsoft Project. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who operates independently and navigates dependencies across systems, applications, and APIs.

Rate: $45.00 to $53.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects supporting corporate and customer network environments.
  • Develop project roadmaps and oversee execution including scope, schedule, budget, and risk monitoring.
  • Support Day 1 merger connectivity initiatives, ensuring required network infrastructure and applications are available at go-live.
  • Identify and coordinate the applications and systems required to support enterprise connectivity.
  • Work closely with network and infrastructure teams to understand dependencies across systems, applications, and APIs.
  • Manage project work and requests through ticketing systems such as Cherwell.
  • Utilize Jira for project and task tracking.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Coordinate with technical teams responsible for network infrastructure, connectivity, and data center operations.
  • Ensure projects are delivered through the full end-to-end lifecycle, from planning through execution and completion.

Experience Requirements:
  • Experience managing projects within network infrastructure, connectivity, or data center environments.
  • Background working within large, complex enterprise organizations.
  • Proven experience managing the full project lifecycle from initiation through completion.
  • Experience managing projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
  • Experience using Cherwell or similar IT ticketing systems.
  • Experience using Jira for project tracking and coordination.
  • Experience building and managing project schedules in Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with network systems, infrastructure environments, and APIs.
  • Ability to work as a self-starter with minimal direction.
  • Practical project management experience for 8+ years (preferred).
  • PMP or Agile certification or Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred).
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile (preferred).
  • Competency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (preferred).
  • Experience with multiple large-scale project implementations (preferred).
  • Exposure to network and data center tools (preferred).
  • Experience in Software Asset Management, Software Compliance, or IT Security (preferred).
  • Strong organization, written and verbal communication, relationship building, and critical analysis skills (preferred).

Education Requirements:
  • PMP certification (preferred).
  • Agile certification such as Scrum or related (preferred).
  • Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred).
