This is a full-time opportunity based in the Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Central Maryland region with a rapidly growing telecommunications services provider focused on in-building wireless solutions. This role centers around Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), supporting wireless and public safety network performance through field engineering, testing, and optimization.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys hands-on field work and wants to grow within the in-building wireless space. The standout aspect of this opportunity is the exposure to end-to-end DAS lifecycle work-from commissioning and testing to optimization and maintenance-while working alongside carriers, customers, and cross-functional teams. The company is looking for someone who is technically driven, reliable in the field, and eager to expand their expertise in evolving wireless technologies.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Public Safety and Wireless Service Provider DAS projects (commissioning, integration, optimization)
  • Experience troubleshooting inbuilding wireless systems
  • Handson experience with field tools such as Spectrum Analyzer, CW generator, PCTEL (or equivalent), OTDR, UE testing devices, and Fluke testers
  • Knowledge of mobile technology standards, RF propagation, antenna theory, BDA systems, and DAS design (passive and active)
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and obtain required clearances
Desired Skills & Experience
  • DAS OEM certifications (JMA, Comba, Fiplex, ADRF, CommScope, Corning, etc.)
  • Familiarity with OSHA and job site safety standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience working with wireless carriers, AHJs, and customers
  • Ability to maintain tools, equipment inventory, and organized workspaces
What You Will Be Doing

  • RF Testing & Troubleshooting Tools and Technologies
Daily Responsibilities
  • Conduct onsite benchmark testing and post-processing
  • Perform wireless carrier and public safety radio testing
  • Commission, integrate, and optimize DAS systems
  • Troubleshoot alarms, signal issues, and customer complaints
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections
  • Coordinate with carriers, customers, and regulatory entities
  • Complete work tickets and documentation
  • Support maintenance contracts and participate in oncall rotation
  • Travel daily to regional job sites
