Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst to lead the end-to-end management of fixed assets and lease accounting data as part of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation. This role is responsible for ensuring data integrity, supporting accounting outcomes through structured data, and driving migration from legacy systems (PowerPlan) into S/4HANA Advanced Asset Accounting and Finance4U.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the full lifecycle of fixed asset and lease accounting data, including master data, transactions, and balances.
Translate accounting requirements (US GAAP, ASC 842) into data structures, transformation rules, and system logic.
Lead data migration--extraction, cleansing, mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
Own integration of assets and lease data across S/4HANA modules (FI, MM, Project Systems, Finance4U).
Define, integrate and execute cutover of fixed asset and lease data, including timing of stop/start activities against in-process projects and ensuring balance reconciliation.
Develop and maintain data governance standards, validation rules, and quality metrics surrounding fixed assets and lease accounting data.
Lead data readiness and creation to support all testing efforts (SIT/UAT).
Support post-go-live stabilization, close cycles, and audit activities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
7+ years of experience in fixed asset accounting, lease accounting, or financial systems.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Advanced Asset Accounting, and Project Systems required.
Experience with lease accounting solutions such as Finance4U or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of data migration, data mapping, and reconciliation processes.
Knowledge of US GAAP and lease accounting standards (ASC 842).
Experience working on large ERP transformation programs.
