About the OpportunityWe are partnering with
Vail Resorts (largest ski resort operator in the world) on a
high-visibility OPERA implementation initiative. This role will play a critical part in bringing OPERA live across the enterprise.
We are seeking a
highly experienced Oracle OPERA Technical Architect / Senior Technical Analyst to lead integration architecture, data mapping, and system design across a complex hospitality technology ecosystem.
What You'll DoYou'll be the
technical authority for OPERA integrations, responsible for shaping the architecture and ensuring alignment across all downstream systems.
Key Responsibilities:Lead OPERA Integration Architecture- Design and oversee end-to-end integrations between OPERA and internal systems
Own Data Mapping & Transformation- Define schemas, data flows, and transformation logic across systems
Drive Integration Strategy- Provide direction for integrations with:
- EDW / data warehouse
- PeopleSoft (GL)
- Loyalty systems
- POS / transaction systems
- Door locks, commissions (Onyx), and owner reporting
Partner with Middleware Teams- Guide SnapLogic developers on:
- Interface design
- Sequencing & orchestration
- Error handling and performance
Collaborate Cross-Functionally- Work with:
- Oracle architects
- Internal engineering teams
Lead Technical Workshops & Design SessionsAdvise on OPERA Configuration Impacts- Ensure downstream systems and reporting are aligned
Support Go-Live & Stabilization- Assist with cutover planning, triage, and post-go-live support
What We're Looking ForRequired Experience:- Deep experience with Oracle OPERA (Cloud and/or on-prem)
- Strong background in technical architecture and system integrations
- Experience with:
- OHIP, OXI, or OPERA APIs
- Multi-property hospitality environments
- Proven ability to:
- Lead complex integration efforts
- Own data mapping and downstream data impacts
- Experience working with:
- Oracle-provided teams and vendor partners
- Strong communication skills with ability to present to Director/VP-level stakeholders
Ideal Candidate:- Has led OPERA implementations or integrations end-to-end
- Understands hospitality technology ecosystems
- Can step in quickly with minimal onboarding
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
- Brings both hands-on technical skills and strategic insight
What Success Looks Like- OPERA integrations are fully designed and aligned across systems
- Data mapping is complete and validated with downstream teams
- Middleware teams have clear direction and deliverables
- Leadership has confidence in architecture decisions
- Smooth OPERA pilot go-live (target: September) with minimal disruption
Additional Details- Start Date: ASAP (target early June)
- Duration: 6 months (likely extension through stabilization)
- Interview Process: 2 rounds (Teams - Manager + Director/VP)
- Work Environment: 100% Remote

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90.00 - $95.00/hr.
