Summary

AMS Lead

Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced Application Management Services (AMS) Lead to oversee monitoring, incident management, outage resolution, and operational excellence for critical applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in observability and real-time issue handling in fast-paced environments, with a preference for those with experience in Connected Vehicles or Telematics.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end Application Monitoring & Observability
  • Manage incident lifecycle: detection, triage, communication, and resolution
  • Handle high-severity outages and drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) creation and preventive actions
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and metrics for proactive monitoring
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system stability
  • Ensure SLA compliance and drive continuous improvement in AMS processes
  • Support on-call operations using escalation and notification systems

Requirements:

Required Skills:
  • Monitoring & Observability Tools: Dynatrace, ELK / Kibana, Grafana, OpenSearch
  • ITSM & Collaboration Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Status Page
  • Incident & On-Call Handling: xMatters

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong background in Monitoring, Issue Triage & Outage Handling
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards, alerting rules, and metrics pipelines
  • Experience in Connected Cars / Telematics domain (added advantage)
  • Expertise in creating RCAs and conducting post-incident reviews

What We''re Looking For:

  • 5-10 years of experience in AMS, Production Support, or Application Operations
  • Ability to lead incident war rooms and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-availability environment
