Job Summary - Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, turning, grinding, milling, etc.
- Reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and other specifications.
- Prep parts and load raw materials onto machinery.
- Perform test run to ensure machines produce outputs according to specifications.
- Monitor the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
- Inspect finished product using precision measuring tools such as micrometer, calipers, and gages.
- Communicate with Quality and Engineering department regarding non-conforming parts.
- Inspect and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
- Document the quality and quantity of the produced parts.
- Operation of Haas machinery, with 3+2 axis control
Required Skills and Qualifications - Proven experience as a CNC operator and experience with precision measuring tools is required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints mechanical/engineering documents and drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
- Must be able to setup and operate using Haas controller with tooland material probe
Required Experience and Education - H.S. Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of CNC operation experience and/or hands on training
