Summary

IT Security Analyst

Position Summary
Seeking an IT Security Analyst to monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats while ensuring compliance with security policies and standards. This role will help protect enterprise systems through threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and respond to security alerts, incidents, and threats.
Perform threat hunting, cyber investigations, and incident remediation.
Administer security tools including EDR/XDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend risk mitigation actions.
Enforce security policies, investigate violations, and maintain security controls.
Collaborate with IT, Compliance, and Legal teams on security and risk management initiatives.
Support security awareness training and stay current on emerging threats.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in Information Security.
Experience with EDR/XDR, anti-malware, SIEM, and endpoint/network security monitoring.
Hands-on experience with threat hunting, incident response, and cyber investigations.
Strong Windows and Linux administration skills.
Understanding of cybersecurity attack techniques, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud security experience.
Microsoft 365 security experience.
Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
Healthcare industry experience.
