We are looking for ETL Developer - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Aliso Viejo, CA.

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $35.00hr - $40.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong experience in ETL/Data Integration development.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database development.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Talend, DataStage, Matillion, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience with Python scripting for data processing and automation.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience working with large datasets and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git/Bitbucket.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL/data integration workflows.
  • Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
  • Build scalable and high-performance data pipelines.
  • Perform data mapping, profiling, validation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot data integration issues.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and data engineers to understand requirements.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance standards.
  • Support production deployments and provide ongoing maintenance.
  • Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and process improvements.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in Healthcare domain and healthcare data processing.
  • Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar modern data platforms.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Copilot.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and compliance standards.
