Job Description
We are seeking a Cloud Architect Contractor to join our dynamic team supporting our client project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Databricks architecture and Lakehouse design and a proven ability to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud solutions that align with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop cloud architecture strategies and roadmaps aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure, including network topology, security configurations, and managed services.
- Evaluate and select cloud technologies, tools, and services to meet project needs and standards.
- Provide technical guidance to development and data engineering teams during solution implementation.
- Ensure adherence to cloud security, performance, reliability, and cost optimization best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Expert-level Databricks architecture, including Lakehouse design and implementation.
- Hands-on experience building scalable data platforms, governance, and security controls.
- Proficiency with cloud networking, IAM, encryption, and cost management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
- Experience level: 10+ years in cloud and data architecture roles.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform services integrated with Databricks.
- Background in data governance, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and CI/CD for data.
