Description:
Job Title: Structural Analysis Engineer
Duration: 1+ Year
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Description:
Uses computational methods and tools in a specialized field (strength of metallic and composite structures, finite element analysis, fatigue, and damage tolerance, etc.). Responsible for establishing structural specifications and performing structural analysis on new designs of primary and secondary airframe structure. Experience in stress analysis of subsystems and subsystems installations desired. Required experience with structural mechanics simulation software including NASTRAN and PATRAN. Experience using Altair Hyper Mesh as a pre-processor and TMP Vision for post-processing desired. Experience with CATIA V5/3DX highly desired. Familiarity with UNIX/LINUX operating systems. Candidate must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings and models.
Required Minimum skills:
1. Airframe primary structure layout and sizing
2. Hand/Excel based analysis of aerospace structures
3. NASTRAN and PATRAN or Hyper Mesh
4. Catia V5
Preferred
Familiarity with Slim, Vision, and IDAT, 3Dx a plus
