Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer 1 to support engineering activities in Ridley Park, PA. You'll be part of a high-performing team of analysts providing structural substantiation and verification for systems that are shaping the future of aerospace.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Perform basic structural analysis using established tools and methods to evaluate structural performance and characteristics.
- Support test execution and analyze/report test results to ensure components and systems meet design requirements and performance criteria.
- Define and document certification and substantiation data for customers and regulatory bodies to validate compliance.
- Investigate in-service failures and analyze potential improvements for existing products.
- Work under general supervision as part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Civil Engineering
- Proficiency in structural analysis, including both classical and computational methods.
- Strong experience with finite element analysis (FEA) tools and techniques.
- Ability to interpret and apply engineering requirements to ensure structural integrity.
