IT Manager

Description

Join a growing manufacturing company in the Portland, ME area as an IT Manager leading technology operations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a small, collaborative environment and wants to have a direct impact on improving systems, processes, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all IT operations, infrastructure, and support across the organization
• Manage and maintain Microsoft-based technologies including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and related services
• Support, administer, and enhance the company's ERP system, working closely with operations and finance teams
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and security issues
• Manage system upgrades, implementation projects, and vendor relationships
• Develop IT policies, procedures, and best practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience, including systems administration or IT management
• Strong background with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Office 365, Azure AD, SQL preferred)
• Hands-on experience supporting an ERP system in a manufacturing environment
• Solid understanding of networking, cybersecurity principles, and backup/recovery
• Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort working independently

Requirements

Proven experience in IT and manufacturing.

Experience with network administration.
